He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Gilbert and Hazel Gilbert; and his brother Jerry Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Darcy Gilbert (Dan Rowe) of Chicago and Michael Gilbert (Mary Petrella) of Lawrenceville; and his granddaughter Allison Gilbert. He is also survived by sister-in-law.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bethlehem Church (548 Christmas Ave, Bethlehem, GA 30620).
