He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Stites and Audrey Stites; and his sister Madeline. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Ellen Trelease; his sister Cecilia; his sons, John (Rhonda) and Joe (Ann); his grandchildren, Karli (Chris), Kendall, Molly, Samuel, Daniel and Jacob; and his pets, Harley and Daisey.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Home (5257 Green St #53, Braselton, GA 30517). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church (6439 Spout Springs Rd, Flowery Branch, GA 30542). A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the Memorial Park South Cemetery (4121 Falcon Pkwy, Flowery Branch, GA 30542).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the FBI Agents Association Memorial College Fund, which provides scholarships to the children and spouses of FBI Agents who have passed away while serving.
