He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clifford Griffin and Nellie Dyer Griffin; his wife Virginia Ann Harkins Griffin; his children, Timothy Robert Griffin, Cheryl Griffin, Patty Peacock (Jeff) of Pendergrass, Eddie Griffin of Hoschton, Tony Griffin (Anita) of Jefferson and Terry Griffin of Covington; and his siblings, Harold Griffin of Jefferson, Jim Griffin of Winder, Louise Wilson of Hoschton and Barbara Brown of Jefferson. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
