She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Gary Carlyle; her daughter Carla Carlyle Shaw (Shannon); her grandson Whittney Stovall; her parents, Dallas Eugene McDougald and Marian Brock McDougald; and her siblings, Sandra Nix (Paul), Alan McDougald and Micheal McDougald.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila Stovall (Gilford) and Joyce Watkins; her grandchildren, Bonna, Jessica McElhannon, Jonathon Stovall and Damon Shaw; and her great grandchildren, Malia Cox, Kylee Gable, Jayden Maatje, Lucas Gable, Bryce Stovall, Sydney Stovall, Teaghan Cox, Kobe Thompson and Michael Henderson.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maddox-Carter Memorial (265 GA Hwy 211, Winder, GA 30680). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Mulberry Baptist Church (5970 Thompson Mill Rd, Hoschton, GA 30548). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the Mulberry Baptist Church Cemetery (5970 Thompson Mill Rd, Hoschton, GA 30548).
