He was predeceased by: his grandparents, J. W., Della Lane of Hortense, Gordon and Ruth Johns of Nahunta; his nephews, Jared Lane-Morrison and Jacob Lane-Morrison; his aunts, Florence Pearson of Hortense, Gertrude Hodges of Jacksonville and Amelia Cook of Nahunta; his uncle Gordon Johns, Jr.; and his cousins, Pat Lane of Hortense, Amy Johns of Middleburg, FL, Ann Peavey of Jacksonville, Sandra Hodges of Jacksonville, Janise Hickox of Waycross and Mack Cook of Hickox.
He is survived by: his parents, Tommy Lane of Hortense and Tavares Johns Lane of Hoboken; his daughters, Della Lane Allen (Ross) of Nahunta, Catera Lane (Adam Dixon) of Waycross and Martha Tavares Lane of Hoboken; his granddaughter Adelynn Dixon of Waycross; his sisters, Danita Turpin (Mark) of Bay City, Daphne Lane Crews (Jonathan Reed) of Nahunta, Sheila Lane of Hoboken, Sharon Morrison (Randy) of Blackshear, Charity Lane (Charlie Causey) of Hortense and Crystal Smith (Josh) of Homerville; the mother of his children Yancy Lane of Jesup; his aunts and uncles, Hubert Lane (Glenda) of Hortense, Janell Kenna of St. Cloud, FL., Jimmy Lane (April) of Hortense, Jackie Lane of Hortense and Herman Johns (Bonnie) of Middleburg, FL.; and his close friend Kathy Faircloth. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews; 8 great nieces and nephews.
