It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Rowe of Hortense, Georgia, born in Brunswick, Georgia, who passed away on February 16, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fredrick Barfield and Nancy Thelma Wildes Barfield; and her brothers, John Barfield, Lott Barfield, Gene Barfield and Slater Barfield.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Rowe of Hortense; her children, Russell (Karen Sherman), Brian (Melanie Sherman) and Pamela Sue; her son-in-law Jeff Barker of Greenville, NC; her grandchildren, Daniel Blake Sherman, Dylan Sherman, Peyton Sherman, Trenton Sherman, Natalie Hastings, Haleigh Barker, Michaela Barker and Sierra Barker; and her brother-in-law Jerry Walker of Brunswick. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren and one on the way; her sister.
