She was predeceased by: her former husband Charles Richard "Doc" Proudfoot, Sr.; and her brothers, Lincoln and Ralph Ross. She is survived by: her husband SouthGeorgia Site Prep; her children, Shirley "Shirl" Shirah (Sammy) of Townsend and Ricky Proudfoot (Ginger) of Mt. Pleasant Community; her grandchildren, Richie Proudfoot, Becca Proudfoot and Joshua Sumner; her great grandchildren, Noah and Leila; and her sister Patti Lewellen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Akin Memorial Church 836 Post Rd. Hortense, Ga. 31543.
