It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald Norwood Sirmons of Hortense, Georgia, born in Hinesville, Georgia, who passed away on December 20, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Sirmons and Varena Itura Shaw Sirmons; his daughter Tonya Renee Ramirez; his sister Carlene Rooks Hall; and his friend Jackie "Jimbo" Ray Hendrix.
He is survived by: his wife Cora Ann Groves Sirmons of Hortense; his daughters, Hope (Kurt Ahnberg), Tammy Medders of Douglas, Veronica (Jamie Denison) and Rebecca Sirmons of Jacksonville; his stepsons, Chuck (Shirley Beard) of Waynesville and Wenda Collins of Brunswick; and his grandchildren, Kylie Sirmons, Stormie Davis, Robbie Medders, Michael Medders, Travis Sirmons, Diego Ramirez, Jacob Beard, Jordan Beard, Kristen Ahnberg Read, Kurt Ahnberg and Takota Jellerson. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many many friends.
