It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Louis Gibson of Hortense, Georgia, born in Poteau, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 4, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dee Gibson and Clara Gibson; his wife Faith Emily Sweat Gibson; and his son Robert Dewayn Gibson. He is survived by: his son Tracy; his daughter-in-law Tina Gibson of Hortense; his daughter Denise; his son-in-law James Head of Waverly; and his grandchildren, Kelly Gibson (Brittany) of Hortense, Dena Morgan (Joel Mathis) of Hortense, Sara Tillman (Marqus) of Waynesville, Ashley Rhoden (Zach) of Ila, Mara Gibson of Hortense, Adam Head of Waverly and Abby Head of Waverly. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
