Marjorie Dixon Moore Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marjorie Dixon Moore of Hortense, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 1, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Erlish Clinton Dixon and Edith Varnadore Dixon; her husband Harold Troy Moore; her children, Genevie Moore, Renee Moore and Joey Moore; and her siblings, Norma Jean Lightsey and Clinton Dixon.
She is survived by: her children, Marjorie Carver (Mike) of Hortense, Polly Reynolds (Lee) of Mocksville, NC, Marcus Moore (Sally) of Hortense and Luke Moore (Laura) of Williamson, GA; and her grandchildren, Chad Carver (Danielle), Matthew Carver (Casey), Dylan Reynolds (Sapphire), Ally Sanders (Andrew), Chelsea England (Cody), Brock Reynolds (Karyna), Josh Herrin (Amanda), Haley Noah (Jacob), Lucas Moore (Candace), Leeanna Moore, Dakoda Warner (Emily) and Joseph Warner (Andrea). She is also survived by twenty five great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Twin Rivers Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at the Bristol Baptist Church Cemetery (3920 Bill Kimmons Rd, Bristol, GA 31518).
