She was predeceased by: her son David L. Hodge, Jr.; her parents, Jack O'Berry and Louise O'Berry; her brothers, Henry Wade, Sr., Henry Lee, Sr. and Michael Ray O'Berry; and her son-in-law Kevin "Cool Breeze" Tomlinson.
She is survived by: her husband David L. Hodge, Sr. of Hortense; her daughters, Lisa Tomlinson of Hortense and Cindy Ryan (Craig) of Hortense; her grandchildren, James Bullard (Cherie), John Paul Bullard (Kelly), Diana Collins (Selby), Miranda Dashaw (Shane), Ben Smith (Shelley) and Amanda Ratliff (Josh); and her siblings, Melissa Chancey, Cecil O'Berry (Joanne) and James O'Berry (Patricia). She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Satilla Missionary Baptist Church (802 Satilla Church Rd, Hortense, GA 31543). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
