It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Wilbur Moody of Hortense, Georgia, who passed away on August 27, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Groover Moody and Alma Strickland Moody; and his former wife Leona Moody. He is survived by: his sibling Rivers Missionary Baptist Church; his wife Dorothy Brauda Moody of Hortense; his children, Sharon (Mike Carter) and Sheliah (Paul DeClue); his grandchildren, Ellis Strickland, Andrew Walker and Lindsay Walker; his great grandchild Morgan Strickland; and his niece Laura Brauda. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
