He was predeceased by: his father James Cummings Davis, II; and his grandparents, John "Jack" Davis, Miriam Cate Davis, Earl Morgan and Elsie Morgan.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Earline Morgan Dowling of Nahunta; his wife Debbie Sue Sloan Davis of Hortense; his daughter Mindy Sue; his son-in-law Matthew Ingram of Hortense; and his grandchild Kadie Beth Ingram. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews a great host of friends.
