She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Zayas and Esther Velasco Zayas; her son Jaoquine Torres; and her siblings, Robert Zayas, Josephine Zayas and Anita Vera Zayas.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Torres (Linda Ann) and Alisa Simmerman (Brian) of Hortense; her grandchildren, Breezey Simmerman, James Ross and Anthony Torres; her stepgrandchildren, Brianna Simmerman and Blake Simmerman; and her siblings, Ernest Zayas, Jr., Carlos Zayas, Richard Zayas, Ruben Zayas, Joey Zayas, Rosie Gutierrez, Stella Zayas and Terry Zayas. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Guadalupe was a CNA for many years and attended The Foundation Church.
