He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Blount and Lillie Blount; his wife Gloria Jean Williams Blount; and his siblings, Nellie, Franklin, Robert, Dorothy and Archie.
He is survived by: his children, Ernest Wayne Blount, Jr. (Stacy) of Hortense, Robert Earl Blount, Sr. (Bonnie) of Hortense and Amanda Jean Blount Crews (Sean) of Hortense; and his sister Delores Blount of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren.
