With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Loper Scherer (Hortense, Georgia), who passed away on December 14, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Nicholas Scherer; and her daughter Teresa Ann Wright. She is survived by: her children, Loretta Elswick of West Virginia, Lynn Robinson of Hortense, Carol Lynn Scherer of Hallsboro, NC and Arthur Howard Scherer of Tallahassee, Fla.; and her sister Marilyn Reichert. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
