It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Wiggins Logue of Hortense, Georgia, born in Brunswick, Georgia, who passed away on September 15, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stewart Johnson Wiggins, Jr. and Elrich Crews Wiggins; her husband Enie Logue; her son Scott Andrew Douberly; her siblings, Sandra Wiggins, Mary Wiggins Clark and Stewart Johnson Wiggins III; her brothers-in-law, Gordon Mitchell and Stanley Clark; her grandmothers, Julia Gibson and Alma Omick; her aunt Virginia Omick; and her nephews, Vance Mitchell and Dennis Mitchell.
She is survived by: her daughter Clarissa Douberly Self (Ritchie); her adoptive daughter Julie Clark Manning (Brian); her stepson David Logue; her grandchildren, Marci Logue, Jared Self, Tara Logue, Alton Logue and Sean Self; her great grandchild Matteo Pena; her nieces and nephews, Julie Manning, Jennifer McDaniel, Gordon Mitchell, Jr., Lorin Clark and Ken Clark; and her pet Copper Logue.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frye Funeral Home (136 Satilla Ave, Nahunta, GA 31553). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at the Little Cemetery.
