He was predeceased by: his parents, Olivia Register Clifton and Barney H. Clifton of Dupont, Georgia.; his son Tyler Clifton; and his siblings, Jimmy Clifton and Peggy Clifton Rogers (Paula) of Naylor.
He is survived by: his pet Fuel; his wife Betsy Clifton; his stepdaughter Holly Mullis; his granddaughter Anna Kate Clifton; his daughter-in-law Molly Phlinda Clifton; and his siblings, Larry Clifton of Homerville, Gwen Fender of Lakeland and Phyllis Smith (Malcolm) of Homerville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Homerville United Methodist Church (202 S Church St, Homerville, GA 31634).
