He is survived by: his wife Leatha Ann Tiner Strickland; his sons, Joseph Shannon Strickland, Sr. (Miranda), Christopher Byron Strickland (Alysia), Hortence and Zachory Strickland (Lindsey); his grandchildren, Joseph Shannon Strickland, Jr. (Taylor), Brenlin Cheyenne Strickland, Triston Strickland, Taryn Pickren, Layton Strickland, Adilyn Strickland, Maddox Strickland, Lincon Strickland and Mykayla Saylors; and his great grandchildren, Elijah Strickland, Amelia Strickland and Sawyer Williams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
