He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Willie and Anne Dickerson (Wheeler) of Homerville; and also Gloria Gettier Dickerson. He is survived by: his stepmother Elva Lee Dickerson of Homerville, GA; his child Joseph Edmund; his daughter-in-law Sharyn; his grandsons, Thomas, William and James; and also Joe Ed.
Joe Bill Dickerson, 88, husband, father, and grandfather ("Pop"), died Saturday, March 24, in Hospice at Piedmont Athens Regional (Piedmont) after a three-year struggle with Alzheimer's Disease.
