He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Watson and Eula Mae Pollard Watson; and his sisters, Inell Hart, Susie Walker and Sadie Brigmond.

He is survived by: his children, Steven Watson of Douglas, Michael Watson (Kristie) of Homerville and Andreia "Candy" Watson of Homerville; his grandchildren, Payton Watson, Destiny Watson, Steven Michael Watson, Luke Watson, Malachi Watson, Lindsey Watson and Jacob Ryder Watson; his great grandchild Kaylynn Johnson; and his former wife Lillie Davis of Homerville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
