With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerrie Tomlinson Delk of Homerville, Georgia, who passed away on March 30, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie M. Tomlinson and Vinettia Livingston Tomlinson; her husband William Henry "Boss" Delk; her sons, Tommy Delk, Ronnie Delk and Randall Delk; her daughter-in-law Linda Delk; and her siblings, Doris Bennett, Leonard Tomlinson and Needham Tomlinson.
She is survived by: her son Wayne Delk of Homerville; her daughter-in-law Rosalind Delk of Homerville; her grandchildren, Brian (Holly Delk), Ron (Morgan Delk), Rusty (Maura Delk) and Dianna (Michael Herrin); her great grandchildren, Maggie Delk, Kearson Delk, Gracie Herrin, Cody Herrin, Allie Delk, Malorie Delk, Tatum Delk, Saylor Delk, Ellie Ann Morris, Mattox Morris, Landon Delk, Ella Kate Delk, Addison Pittman and Emma Howell; and her great great grandchild Brody Lee Williams. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Vision Church of God (215 Dickerson St, Homerville, GA 31634). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
