He was predeceased by: his father William Oliver Bennett; his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Louise Holmes Bennett; and his siblings, Clyde Bennett, Wilbur Bennett, Mary Jane Corbitt and Louise Warren.
He is survived by: his son Ed; his daughter-in-law Janet Spradley Bennett of Homerville; his grandchildren, Heather and Zackary Bennett of Homerville; and his sister Maggie Gaskins of Daytona, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
