He is survived by: his mother Kathy Wanell Royals Melton; his daughter Jacklyn Mixon (Jim); his siblings, Jason Corbitt (Melissa) of Hilliard, FL, April Melton of Lakeland, GA and Robin Melton of Lakeland, GA; and his grandsons, James Alton Mixon, Mark Mixon, William Mixon and Jack Mixon. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
