She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hardy Trowell, III and Bertie Jordan Trowell; her husband Samuel B. Strickland; and her siblings, Frances Trowell Miller of Jacksonville, FL and Freddie Lee Trowell, Sr. of Homerville, GA..
She is survived by: her son Robert; her daughter-in-law June Strickland of Blackshear, GA; her daughter Rita; her son-in-law Gary Harper of Orange Park, FL; her grandchildren, Kimberly Rodgers (Kevin) of Waycross, GA, Bubba Strickland of Homerville, GA, Jason Purvis of Blackshear, GA, Laney Strickland of Waycross, GA, Brittany Sohbatzadeh (Shayan) and Stuart Harper (Anell); and her great grandchildren, Rinzi Strickland, Siara Strickland, Allison Alford, Dylan Rodgers, Seth Strickland, Halee Strickland and Elizabeth Sohbatzadeh. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
