She was predeceased by: her parents, Bishop Milton Oscar and Marcella Louise Sweat; her husband James Thomas Steedley (J. T.); and her grandson Micah Steedley. She is survived by: her children, Jamie Annie Ruth (James Thomas Steedley, Jr.) and Rose Marie; her children-in-law, Wayne Williams and Jamie Douglas-Steedley; her granddaughter Sara Marcella Williams; and her caregivers, Elvira Williams, Sheila Henderson and Judy Pittman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Roundtree Funeral Home (240 E Dame Ave, Homerville, GA 31634). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fargo Church of God (274 GA-94, Fargo, GA 31631). A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at the Fargo Memorial Cemetery (165 Bluff St, Fargo, GA 31631).
