With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Dare (Bufford) Brannan of Homer, Georgia, who passed away on March 17, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bufford and Louise Bufford; her husband Homer Gray Brannan Jr. of McDonough; and her siblings, Gene Bufford, George Bufford Jr., Don Bufford, Mike Bufford, Joy Estes and Barbara Carlisle.
She is survived by: her sisters, Berta Bufford Alexander, Judy Bufford Smith and Rita Bufford Taylor; her children, Gray Brannan (Laurie), Nancy Joiner (Edwin) and George Todd Brannan; and her grandchildren, Matthew Brannan (Kelly), Charles Turner (Jessica) and Virginia Still (Matt). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
