He is survived by: his wife Verlon Dela Barrett Parson; his children, Stephen Parson (Heather), Phillip Parson (Angie) and Joy Parson; his siblings, Billy Parson and Carleen Welburn; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Jordan, Jared, Alivia and Lillee Parson.
