She is survived by: her mother Bernice Messer Burney of Orlando; her children, Michael (Jennifer Hightower), Josh Hightower of Homer and Lilith Hightower of Lula; her grandchildren, Alexus Lynn Mort, Laura Hightower, Stephen Hightower and Nathan Hightower; her great grandchild Vladimir Brock; and her siblings, Larry Burney of Lake Wales, Florida, Debbie Burney of Orlando, Florida, Regina Burney of Orlando, Florida and Cindy Burney of Orlando, Florida. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
