He was predeceased by: his father John William. He is survived by: his wife Donna Garrison Payne of Homer; his children, Joy Edwards (Tim) of Homer and John Payne (Lindsay) of Maysville; his brother Ben Payne (Yvonne) of Homer; and his grandchildren, Luke, Lauren Kate, Henry and Lillie Rose.
