With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Truman Blackwell of Homer, Georgia, born in Dahlonega, Georgia, who passed away on January 24, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Blackwell and Nellie Lance Blackwell; and his brother Robert Blackwell, Jr. (Blackwell). He is survived by: his wife Kay McClain Blackwell of Homer; his children, Jerry Blackwell, Jr. of Lawrenceville and Claudia Jackson of Lawrenceville; and his sisters, Dorothy Brantley of Rockmart and Shirley Sims of Whitesburg. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
