In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ira Connie leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Ira Connie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her mother Joycelyn Pugh Porter; and her brother Curtis Porter, Jr.. She is survived by: her father Curtis Porter; her husband Anthony Jackson; the mother of her child Tabitha Hughes (Hunter); her grandchildren, Tristen, Kiera and Connor Hughes; and her sisters, Kathy Smith and Laura Ratterree.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ivie Funeral Home (1053 S Elm St, Commerce, GA 30529). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at the Banks County Memorial Gardens.
