With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis James of Homer, Georgia, born in Commerce, Georgia, who passed away on April 1, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence James and Velma Mae Christian James; and his siblings, Hugh William James and Marie James. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ward James of Homer; his children, Allan James (Kyllie) of Cornelia and Tonya Blair (Wayne Wade) of Homer; his grandchildren, Tyler Blair, Zack James and Bethany James; his great grandchildren, Briggs Blair and Ryan Miller; and his sisters, Linda James of Ila and Mary Sue James of Ila. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
