He is survived by: his daughter Kay; his son-in-law Barry Alexander of Sautee Nacoochee; his sons, Boyd Broome of Homer, Wendell Broome of Toccoa and Todd; his daughter-in-law Dawn Broome of Toccoa; his sisters, Dorothy Wheeler of Gainesville, Gail Foster of Baldwin, Barbara Randall of Mt. Airy and Debbie Stover of Clarkesville; and his grandchildren, Brannon Broome, Hope Stewart, Heather Marriott, Kayla Cross and Breanna Damera. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
