He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel P. Perno and Mary C. Perno; and his brother Larry Perno. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Perno; his daughters, Sharon Bruckman (David), Karen Keen (Brian), Patricia Mesi (David) and Christine Mamon (John); his grandchildren, Christian, McKenna Bruckman, Jr., Drew, Gabrielle, Savannah Keen, Grayson, Joshua, Isabella Mesi, Samantha and Alexis Mamon; his sister Karen Voshall (late James Voshall); his nephew Jason; and his niece Amy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
