He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman H. and Mary B. (Sprouse); and his siblings, Joanne Weisenstein, Beverly Metzger, George Hess, Patricia Hess and James O. Hess.
He is survived by: his wife Susie; his stepdaughters, Carolyn B. Dodd (Ken) and Connie S. Gensemer (Jon); his grandchildren, Kylie, Maddie, Chelsea and A. J.; his siblings, John Hess, David Hess (Donna), Dianne Hess, Thomas Hess (Gigi), Steve Hess (Suzi), Mary Hess, Michael Hess and Paul Hess (Jenny); and his sister-in-law Joan Hess.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund or The Lewy Body Dementia Association.
