He is survived by: his parent Mellie Hunt Parrish (Mark); his children, Kathryn Grace McAteer and Hunt Anderson McAteer; his sisters, Cindy Barge (Will Long), Crystal Burdette (Robert), Paula Simmons (Eric) and Shantel Wood; and his nephews, Wesli, Pierce, Zane Simmons, Jackson, Evan Burdette, AJ (Kaelen), Joshua (Destiny), Samuel, Christian, Ansley, Isaiah, Neziah Barge and Ellie Gomez.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Monroe County Board of Commissioners earmarked.
