With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rufus Fowler Perkins of Hogansville, Georgia, who passed away on June 18, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Fowler Perkins and Cecil Johnson Perkins; his wife Betty L. Perkins; and his siblings, William R. "Bill" Perkins, Harwell Lee Perkins and Seba Ann Perkins Lanier.

He is survived by: his son Keith Perkins (Carolyn Prince); his siblings, Sue Thompson of LaGrange and Clinton; his sister-in-law Carolyn Perkins of LaGrange; and his grandchildren, William Perkins, Russell Perkins, Reese Perkins and Reannon Hayes. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
