He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Eugene Chapman and Amelia White Chapman; his grandson Cody Chapman; and his brothers, Donnie Herman Chapman and Barry Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Chapman; his children, Scotty Eugene Chapman, Dustin Lamar Chapman, Candy Chapman Bonner (Keith) of Hogansville, Tonya Chapman Thornhill (Brian) of Hogansville and Angel Chapman Pope of Hogansville; and his siblings, Cathy Thompson of Alabama, Mike Chapman of Hogansville and Joey Chapman of LaGrange. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
