She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Proffitt and Doris Gunn Burton. She is survived by: her husband Sam Riddle of Hogansville; her daughter Sammee Rivers (Chris Rivers) of Newnan; her granddaughter Maggie Rivers of Newnan; and her sisters, Danah Tipton of Burnsville, NC and Patricia Burton of Lynn, MA..
A reception will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 1 Young Ave, Newnan, GA 30263.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Bridging the Gap (BTG Community Outreach, Inc.), Mercy Ships or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
