He is survived by: his daughter Emily Brown of Lineville, AL; his stepson Chase Hughes (Jasmine) of LaGrange; his mother Lois Heard Smith of LaGrange; his sister Cindy Garrard of Peachtree Corners; and his grandchildren, Ryan Hildebrant and Ridley Hughes.
