He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Owensby and Mattie Owensby; his siblings, Willie, Wilson, John, Thomas, Mattie Lee Crawford and Oria Lee Williams-McAfee; and his great grandchild Karson Butler.
He is survived by: his wife Jessica Evans of Atlanta, GA; his children, April Marie Evans of Vinings, GA and Jessie Lee Evans, Jr. (Mignon) of Spring Hill, TN; his sister Annie Bell Evans of Palmetto, GA; and his sister-in-law Beatrice Evans of Union City, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
