He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Powers and Pauline Payton Powers; and his wife Nancy Lee Powers. He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Eugene Powers, Jr. (Sonya) of Hogansville, Tyre Powers (Vickie) of Hogansville, Chuck Calhoun (Karin) of Mesquite, TX, Tina Calhoun of Newnan, Shawn Powers, Sr. (Jill) of Newnan, Miguel Powers (Elizabeth) of LaGrange, Hector Becerra of Dallas, TX, Isael Castillo (Anna) of Hogansville and Johnny Castillo of Hogansville; and his brother Rev. Frank Powers (Susie) of Newnan. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-granchildren.
