He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Allen Smith and Eudora Garrett Smith. He is survived by: his son Emory Allen Smith III of LaGrange; his stepson Shane Prescott of Hogansville; and his brother Tom Smith of LaGrange. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
