Benjamin Clayton Ammons Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2021, at the age of 99, Benjamin Clayton Ammons of Hogansville, Georgia, born in Parrott, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ethel Coombs Ammons; and his parents, James Alexander Ammons and Effie Massey Ammons. He is survived by: his children, William Clayton Ammons (Annette D'Anna) of Chicago, Dexter Barrett, Beatrice Lane of Atlanta, Alyse Catherine, Corinne Donnelly of Alpharetta, Sylvia Jane, Colette Ruth of El Cerrito and Dante Michael Ammons of Chicago. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the current pandemic, a private interment will be conducted at the Parrott Cemetery and a memorial service will be planned for a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of West Point or the charity of one's choice.
