It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amelia Denicke Lasater (Hogansville, Georgia), born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on June 8, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Weaver "Rudy" Denicke, Sr. and Betty Moore Denicke; her husband James E. "Jim" Lasater; her son James E. "Ed" Lasater, Jr.; and her nephew Mark Denicke.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Rogers (Mark) of Mountville; her granddaughters, Rebecca Robinson (Michael) of Woodstock and Jamie Haley (Clay) of Hartsville, SC; her great grandchildren, Landon Robinson, Logan Robinson, Ricky Haley and Kathleen Haley; and her siblings, Rosemary Rogers (Alton) of Covington and R. W. "Pete" Denicke, Jr. (Phyllis) of Suwanee. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
