With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lavon Dixon Thomas of Hoboken, Georgia, who passed away on May 15, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Victor Ray Thomas; her parents, Curtis Carswell Dixon and Mary Elizabeth Hagin Dixon; and her grandmother D. Thrift. She is survived by: her children, Sheila T. Gibbs (Michael) of Cordele, GA. and Vic Thomas (Paula) of Tallahassee, FL; her grandchildren, Hannah G. Stallings (Ross) of Atlanta, GA, Daniel Gibbs (Kassidy) of Warner Robins and Kiley Grace Lewis (Dakota) of Tallahassee, FL; her great grandchild Tory Stallings; and her sisters, Naomi D. Bowen of Waycross and Loretta D. Bowen of Jesup, GA.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
