She was predeceased by: her parent Dawshene Highsmith Mathis; and her siblings, Kevin Mathie and Karla Mathie. She is survived by: her father Don E. Mathie of Hoboken; her husband Mike Strickland of Hoboken; her children, Aaron Rose of Hoboken and Yolanda Rose of Harrisonburg, VA; her brothers, Kleve Mathie (Andy) of Nahunta, Kerry Mathie (Martha) of Nahunta and Kenny Johns (Cheryl) of Hoboken; and her brother-in-law Russell Strickland (Brenda) of Alma. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
