With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jimmy Godbolt of Hoboken, Georgia, born in Savannah, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2024 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Godbolt and South of Georgia; his brother-in-law Johnny Bailey; and his stepfather Ben Taylor. He is survived by: his children, Crystal Taylor (Dustan) of Waycross, James Godbolt (Marsha) of Waycross, Gayle Sipper (Matt) of Elberton, Luciana Brewer of Tifton and Recil Godbolt (Heather) of Tifton; his grandchildren, Jacob, Riley, Ally, Sophie, Loralai, Skylee, Hunter, Samantha, Kassie, Joshua, Kerra, Dean and Brittany; and his siblings, Elaine Bailey of Waycross, Paula Mixon (Yancy) of Waycross, Bill Godbolt of Waycross and Michael Godbolt (April) of Waycross. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
