She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mercer and Ada Combs Mercer; her husband Frank Riggins; her grandson Dustin Riggins; and her siblings, Clinton Mercer of Clio Allen, G. W, Doris Williams of Virginia, Bernice Parker, Roy Mercer, Curtis Mercer, Patricia Wilson and Joyce Sapp.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Johnson (Harry) of Alma, David Riggins (Beth) of Yulee, Melba Clough of Blackshear and Carol Herrin; and her siblings, Becky McDiffitt (Steve) of Swainsboro, Timmy Riggins (Kathy) of Blackshear and Jeff Riggins of Hoboken, Georgia. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews.
